Money System

The normal Board Money System is not available in this page

So if anyone has an idea how we could solve it - and please use simple words for me - answer to this thread.

With the moving to this freehost we also got a money system.

The Board money is called Gold and you can earn it by posting in different areas (as long as you dont spam! Cause if you spam you will LOOSE money instead!) and by entering activities and contests of the board.
Also you can sell your goodies or yourself at the Shop Area to get more gold.

I don't know if costs money to add a mod to the forum but I found this while searching for alternative money systems >3> I'll keep looking for other ways to help with the money system either way <3

Here's an idea.

We could make a Banker/Accountant character that is in charge of keeping track of points and trading. We assign points according to monthly participation in events or posts count. At the end of the month your points are tallied and you can spend them as you please in the Dealers Route or wherever. Every month we start your point count over. So If you made 100 points in July you have until the end of August to spend them. At the end of August your August participation is counted and you are given your points to spend during September and so on.

That's a good idea, though it leaves a lot of work on the back of the staff. How much would it cost to upgrade the board to that we can add mods? If it's not too much, we could do a community fundraiser of some kind!

& I think counting could be possible but refreshing every month is a bit to much work...
now I would just need one that will ready count all together
means adding currency won by contests, too a.s.o

So it don't said (or I'm blind) that mod adding would be possible than *shrug*

Hmm, let me do some research. I may need to contact their support, but if it's possible for $49/year, I would happily buy that for the community.

No you cannot, however feel free to suggest such modifications in our support forum. Since we completely manage your forum (keeping it up to date, safe, secure and reliable) we do not provide access to core system files. So long as it's a modification that would not be sql or processor heavy and would be of use to a wide audience then we'll definitely consider it.

cause the money system is a real small add on

but therefor a support contacting would be the only way to get to know that
and my english is (as you may noticed) not the best to get something clean described

it's already been suggested and it was rejected countless times
so we probably won't be able to add money to this forum ever
the only solution would be to switch hosting unfortunately TT_TT
